Spooky season is over and we closed it out with a bang with our “Tower of Terror” party on Halloweekend!
Thank you to all of the amazing old friends and new friends who visited La Vie during the month of October. We truly enjoyed feeding you, getting you tipsy, and provided the beats that made you want to move!

“You can’t beat this view and the ambiance anywhere on the DC waterfront. The decor was incredible. Truly worth it to go just for that. The service was spectacular. I’m pregnant and was offered several choices for delicious mocktails. The food was delicious and overall great experience. A little pricey, but worth it! Great for date night, girls night or taking friends out when they’re in town. “A foodie by nature-I generally enjoy a nice upscale ambiance with a more mature clientele and sophisticated audience. I guess one can say I have began to embrace the “salt” in my peppered beard. La Vie checked that box for me.
“My standard bearer wherever I go is a typical old fashioned but decided to try La Vie’s version at the recommendation of the knowledgeable bartender, Julia. They call theirs “La Vie AF”. Watching Julia make my drink was masterful and was like poetry in motion (I often get as much pleasure enjoying the creation process as I do enjoying the beverage) as she maintained a smile throughout the entirety of the process while at the same time making a couple of pleasant remarks to a few other patrons she too was waiting on while tending to my drink. She navigated the bar effortlessly delivering my drink in front of me in a matter of minutes from the time I placed my order. A testament to her stellar service was she waited for me to take a drink and make sure it was to my satisfaction prior to walking away. All of which done in a very jovial and upbeat manner.
